🔍 Strengthening International Ties in Process Metallurgy!
As part of my European research trip, I visited the world-renowned Montanuniversität Leoben to engage in academic exchange with the Department of Metallurgy.
Huge thanks to Prof. Johannes Schenk, Dr. Michael Andreas Zarl, and PhD student Bernd Taferner for organizing such an enriching visit!

🧪 Lab Tour Highlights
• A fluidized bed reactor capable of processing up to 9 kg
• Unique EAF melting setup for DRI samples
These facilities are rare even in Japan and open up exciting collaboration opportunities!

🍽️ Lunch & Fortunate Encounters
I enjoyed seasonal white asparagus (Spargel) over lunch and was lucky to meet Prof. Susanne Michelic, Chair of the Department. A very nice surprise!
