10/16-18にイタリアのバルドリーノで開催されたECIC2024 (9th European Coke and Ironmaking Congress)に参加して来ました。
私も基調講演とセッション座長として会議に貢献できたと思っています。
今回この貴重な機会をアレンジしてくれた、学会座長のJohannes と友人のJanには深く感謝しています。また、素晴らしいオーガナイズをしてくれたイタリア鉄鋼協会の皆さんにも感謝しています。
今回の会議では日本鉄鋼協会での高炉プロセスに関する共同研究のポテンシャルを私から紹介すると共に、以前からの欧州の友人達との旧交をあたため、また新たに欧州のコラボレーションの可能性を発見する良いチャンスとなりました。
ECIC2024 (9th European Coke and Ironmaking Congress) held in Bardolino, Italy, was a great success.
I believe I was able to contribute to the conference as a keynote speaker and session chair.
I am deeply grateful to Johannes Schenk the conference chair, and my friend Jan van der Stel for arranging this valuable opportunity. I would also like to thank the Associazione italiana di metallurgia for their excellent organization.
This conference was a good opportunity for me to introduce the potential of collaborative research on blast furnace processes at the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan, to renew old friendships with in Europe, and to discover new possibilities for European collaboration.
