9月10日、神戸製鋼加古川製鉄所にて特別講義を行いました。
この講義は、九州大学鉄鋼リサーチセンターが主催する夏季集中研修に選抜された大学院生と、訪問先の企業研究者を対象としています。
センター長の土山教授に同席いただき、「マルテンサイト鋼の降伏挙動と不均一変形」について講義していただき、私は「次世代製鉄プロセスに向けた現実的なカーボンミニマム」についてお話ししました。
この研修は計4日間の予定で、もちろん学生と企業との交流会も含まれます。
大学院生にとって、将来のキャリアパスについて深く考える良い機会となることを願っています。
On September 10th, I gave a special lecture at Kobe Steel’s Kakogawa Works.
This event was aimed at graduate students selected for the summer intensive training program organized by the Research Center for Steel in Kyushu University, as well as corporate researchers at the site.
I was accompanied by Professor Tsuchiyama, Director of the Research Center for Steel, who gave a lecture about “Yield behavior and heterogeneous transformation of martensitic steels,” and I spoke about “Realistic carbon minimums for next-generation ironmaking processes.”
The training event was scheduled for four days in total, and of course included exchange events between students and companies.
I hope that it will be a good opportunity for the graduate students to think deeply about their future career paths.
