6月16日から19日にブリスベンで開催されたMOLTEN2024 に参加してきました👨🏫
これは溶融スラグ、フラックス、溶融塩に関連する国際会議で今回初参加！
「Characterizing bubble size distribution and generation position in iron oxide-containing slag smelting reduction」と言うタイトルでスラグフォーミングについての報告をしましたが、140件の報告中でtop 13 standout abstractsにノミネートされるなど、割とポジティブな反響もあり、この研究分野にも今後力を入れていこうと思いました💪
また初参加の分野の会議だったので、知り合いに会うことは期待していなかったのですが、意外と製鉄分野のオージーのお友達達と再会できて良い時間を過ごしました🍻
中でも博論の査読📝をした学生さんと会えたのは感慨深かったです👍❣️
I attended MOLTEN2024 held in Brisbane from June 16th to 19th 👨🏫
This was my first time attending an international conference related to molten slag, flux, and molten salt!
I gave a report on slag foaming titled “Characterizing bubble size distribution and generation position in iron oxide-containing slag smelting reduction”, and it was nominated as one of the top 13 standout abstracts out of 140 reports, so I received a fairly positive response and decided to focus on this research field in the future 💪
It was also my first time attending a conference in my field, so I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone I knew, but I was able to unexpectedly reunite with my Australian friends in the steelmaking field and had a great time 🍻
It was particularly moving to meet the students who reviewed my doctoral thesis 📝 👍❣️
