材料工学科の恒例イベントである「材工駅伝大会」が開催されました。
大野研究室は総合3位、さらに第一走者が区間賞を獲得するという好成績を収めました。
私は定期試験対応のため現地での観戦はできませんでしたが、参加・観戦していた方々からは、
「どの区間でも声を掛け合い、並走しながら走っていた」
「最もチームとしてまとまっていたのが大野研だった」
という声が多く聞かれました。
順位や個人の成績だけでなく、研究室としての一体感やチームワークが走りに表れていた一日だったように思います。
日頃の研究活動とはまた異なる形で、研究室の結束を感じられる良い機会となりました。
参加した学生の皆さん、本当にお疲れさまでした。
Materials Engineering Ekiden Relay Race
Today, the annual Materials Engineering Ekiden Relay Race was held.
Ohno Laboratory achieved an excellent result, finishing 3rd overall, with our first runner winning the section prize.
Although I could not attend the event in person due to exam duties, I was told by those who watched that
“the runners encouraged each other and ran side by side in every section,” and that
“Ohno Lab was the most united team throughout the race.”
Beyond the rankings and individual results, it seems to have been a day when the strong sense of unity and teamwork within the laboratory clearly showed on the course.
It was a valuable opportunity to experience our lab’s cohesion in a way different from daily research activities.
